Description
My first cruelty investigation was at an assembly yard where pigs arrived on small trailers and were electrically prodded onto commercial trailers for the remainder of their forced journey to slaughter. Once on the trailers, the pigs instantly rushed to the port holes where they would stare out, stretching their necks to feel the sun on their faces for likely the first time in their lives. The feeling that struck me was that the pigs seemed hopeful - that perhaps their future was something better than their past had been. As vegans, we carry that same hope and work towards fulfilling the promise of a better future for all animals.

Thank you for spreading awareness. Beautiful work. Sad we still have to teach people that other beings are someone, not something

First, congratulation on your sale. Second, I know this is more than just a painting of a cute little pig. It's to bring awareness to people about the miserable, tortured lives that all farm animals who are being raised for 'food', live! I was looking at your painting when I noticed that the pigs shadow looked like a piece of pork hanging at the butchers. So I took a closer look and then read your Description! I know all too well about the lives of farm animals for 'food, so I now eat a lot of veggies and fish and nuts and peanut butter. Thank you for your awareness painting! f/l
